The Veterinary Technology program is academically challenging. Therefore, students must fulfill preliminary requirements before enrolling in these courses. The following skill levels are required: you must be scholastically qualified to enroll in: ENG 1021 , MAT 1240 or MAT 1340 , and be able to read at the college level. For more details, please see the Academic Placement Methods and Placement Test Options section.
The Veterinary Technology program has admission requirements in addition to those of the College. When students apply to the College and select Veterinary Technology as their program of study, they will have access to the electronic Veterinary Technology application on their admission checklist. The application should be submitted in the spring semester for admission to enter the program in the following fall. Space is limited to the first 32 qualified applicants.
This program has a fee that may be non-refundable. Please see the registration staff for more information.
Graduates will receive an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Veterinary Technology. Students desiring a program in pre-veterinary medicine should enroll in the Associate of Science Degree program.
