Ski and Snowboard Business Certificate


The certificate includes many of the courses included in the Associate of Applied Science degree  and credits may be applied toward the degree. Additionally, the bachelor’s degree-seeking student can obtain a Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) - Leadership & Management  from Colorado Mountain College.

Students must demonstrate college-level proficiency in composition, reading, and mathematics as prerequisites for courses within this program. Skills in these areas may affect the sequence in which you can enroll and may also extend the time required to complete this program. Graduates of the program will receive a Certificate of Occupational Proficiency in Ski and Snowboard Business. This program is offered at Colorado Mountain College in Steamboat Springs.

For federal student aid purposes, this program is defined as 27 credit hours, 30 weeks of instruction and is financial aid eligible.

Program Requirements


The following courses fulfill the program requirements for the AAS Degree in Ski & Snowboard Business ; additionally, these courses comprise the Certificate of Occupational Proficiency in Ski & Snowboard Business . They are also the emphasis area of the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration  (BSBA) degree when used in conjunction with those requirements. Please work with your advisor on course selection to fulfill degree requirements in order to move seamlessly from the certificate to the AAS Ski & Snowboard Business and into the BSBA with an emphasis in Ski & Snowboard Business.
