Associate of General Studies: Engineering (CMC & CU-Boulder)

Picture of students working toward their CMC and CU-Boulder Engineering Agreement (AGS)The community college engineering Associate of General Studies is a broad engineering discipline that incorporates skills and expertise in the areas of design, manufacturing, mechanics and thermal sciences essential to most sectors of industry and society.

This two-year degree is designed to transfer to the University of Colorado at Boulder’s College of Engineering and Applied Science. There you may earn a Bachelor of Science degree in one of twelve majors. It is highly recommended that the student intending to transfer from CMC keep in contact each semester with a faculty or staff advisor from their intended major department or degree program at CU-Boulder.

Graduates of the program will receive an Associate of General Studies Degree in Community College Engineering.
