This certificate curriculum includes many of the courses included in the Associate of Applied Science degree in Paralegal and credits may be applied toward that degree.
Students must demonstrate acceptable proficiency levels in reading and writing as prerequisites for courses within this program. Skills in these areas may affect the sequence of courses in which students can enroll and may also extend the time required to complete this program. All Paralegal (PAR) courses are offered online, with other courses for the certificate offered online and/or on selected campuses.
Students should take PAR 115 and PAR 213 prior to enrolling in all other PAR courses. It is also recommended that students take POS 111 prior to enrolling in CRJ 210 .
