BUS 487 - Business Internship1.0 - 6.0 Credits Prerequisites: Junior standing and permission of the instructor. Combines project-based field experience with selected resources, assignments, and self-assessments to build real-world professional competencies. The field experience consists of a project that reinforces and extends the student’s academic work. Providing economic, environmental, and social value to organizations and communities is emphasized. Course meetings and activities are built around learner-centered reflection, field experiences, peer discussions, and project progress reports. Student learning is supported by coaching from faculty, student peers, and field mentors. COOP 45 Contact hours per credit
