Prerequisites: Accuplacer Sentence Skills (SS) score of 95 or higher and Reading Comprehension (RC) score of 80 or higher; or Next Generation Accuplacer Writing scores 246-300; or equivalent ACT/SAT scores; or passed CCR-092, CCR-092C, CCR-093, CCR-094, or ENG-090 with a grade of C- or higher. The college may also use previous academic history, including high school information, for placement.
Covers concepts and issues related to world population, food and agriculture. This is a statewide Guaranteed Transfer course in the GT-SS3 category.
