✽ BUS 226 - Business Statistics3.0 Credits
Prerequisites: Accuplacer Elementary Algebra (EA) score of 61 or higher; or Next Generation Accuplacer Quantitative Reasoning, Algebra, and Statistics (QAS) scores 240-300; or equivalent ACT/SAT scores; or passed MAT-050 or MAT-055 with a C- or higher. The college may also use previous academic history, including high school information, for placement.
Focuses on statistical study, descriptive statistics, probability, binominal distribution, index numbers, time series, decision theory, confidence intervals, linear regression, and correlation. Intended for the business major.
