◆ ANT 215 - Native Peoples of North America (GT-SS3)3.0 Credits Prerequisites: Accuplacer Sentence Skills (SS) score of 95 or higher and Reading Comprehension (RC) score of 80 or higher; or Next Generation Accuplacer Writing scores 246-300; or equivalent ACT/SAT scores; or passed CCR-092, CCR-092C, CCR-093, CCR-094, or ENG-090 with a grade of C- or higher. The college may also use previous academic history, including high school information, for placement. Studies the origins of native peoples in the New World, through the development of geographic culture areas, to European contact and subsequent Native American issues.
