◆ HIS 207 - American Environmental History (GT-HI1)3.0 Credits Prerequisites: Accuplacer Sentence Skills (SS) score of 95 or higher and Reading Comprehension (RC) score of 80 or higher; or Next Generation Accuplacer Writing scores 246-300; or equivalent ACT/SAT scores; or passed CCR 092 , CCR 093 , CCR 094 , or ENG-090 with a grade of C- or better. The college may also use previous academic history, including high school information, for placement. Traces and analyzes the relationships between Americans and their natural environments throughout the history of the United States. Environmental history interprets the changing ways diverse people have used and viewed their environments over time.
