◆ HIS 122 - US History Since the Civil War (GT-HI1)3.0 Credits Prerequisites: Accuplacer Sentence Skills (SS) score of 95 or higher and Reading Comprehension (RC) score of 80 or higher; or Next Generation Accuplacer Writing scores 246-300; or equivalent ACT/SAT scores; or passed CCR 092 , CCR 093 , CCR 094 , or ENG-090 with a grade of C- or better. The college may also use previous academic history, including high school information, for placement. Explores events, trends, peoples, groups, cultures, ideas, and institutions in United States History, including the multiple perspectives of gender, class, and ethnicity, from the American Civil War to the present.
