◆ HIS 112 - The World: 1500-Present (GT-HI1)3.0 Credits Prerequisites: Accuplacer Sentence Skills (SS) score of 95 or higher and Reading Comprehension (RC) score of 80 or higher; or Next Generation Accuplacer Writing scores 246-300; or equivalent ACT/SAT scores; or passed CCR 092 , CCR 093 , CCR 094 , or ENG-090 with a grade of C- or better. The college may also use previous academic history, including high school information, for placement. Explores a number of peoples, groups, ideas, institutions, and trends that have shaped World History from 1500 to the present.
