◆ GEY 112 - Historical Geology (GT-SC1)4.0 Credits Prerequisites: GEY 111 with a grade of C- or higher; or instructor permission. Covers the development of Earth through the vast span of geologic time. Emphasis is on the investigation and interpretation of sedimentary rocks and features, the record of ancient environments, fossil life forms, and physical events in Earth’s history within the framework of plate tectonics. This course includes laboratory experience.
