Restaurant Management Certificate

The Restaurant Management Certificate gives students the opportunity to gain the skills necessary to obtain an entry-level, supervisory position in one of the fastest growing service professions.  As part of the Restaurant Management Certificate students will gain skills and broaden their knowledge of this industry with specific work experience and training in the food and beverage business world.

This certificate curriculum includes many of the courses included in the Associate of Applied Science degree in Restaurant Management  and credits may be applied toward that degree.

Students must demonstrate college-level reading, writing, and mathematical skills as prerequisites for some courses within program.  Skills in these areas may affect the sequence of courses in which you can enroll and may extend the time required to complete the program.  For more details, see the Academic Placement and Testing  section.

Graduates of the program will receive a Certificate of Occupational Proficiency in Restaurant Management.  This program is offered at Alpine Campus - Steamboat Springs.
