Students must demonstrate college-level proficiency in composition, reading, and mathematics as prerequisites for courses within this program. Skills in these areas may affect the sequence in which students enroll and may also extend the time required to complete this program. Graduates of the program will be eligible to receive an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Resort Management from Colorado Mountain College. Students may also be eligible to receive the Educational Institute of American Hotel and Lodging Association’s Hospitality Management Diploma. Please consult with an advisor about requirements for this option.

The following courses fulfill the program requirements for the AAS Degree in Resort Management ; additionally these courses comprise the Certificate of Occupational Proficiency in Hospitality Operations. Please work with an advisor on course selection to fulfill degree requirements in order to move seamlessly from the Hospitality Operations Certificate to the AAS Resort Management and then to the Bachelor of Applied Science.
