The advanced welder will gain a better understanding of welding techniques and refine their skills within the welding industry.

Graduates will receive a Certificate of Occupational Proficiency in Pipe Welding.

The Pipe Welding certificate is offered at the West Garfield campus. See the Course Description section for more information.

Requirements

WEL 230 - Pipe Welding I 4.0 Credits
WEL 231 - Pipe Welding II 4.0 Credits
WEL 236 - Pipe Welding Practices 3.0 Credits
WEL 238 - Fabrication of Pipe 3.0 Credits

* Completing both the Basic Welding and Cutting Certificate and Pipe Welding Certificates will prepare students to take the American Welding Society (AWS) certification exam.
