◆ SOC 220 - Sociology of Religion (GT-SS3)3.0 Credits Prerequisites: Requires college-level composition and reading. This course provides an introduction to the sociology of religion, including a comparative and critical examination of world religions, by focusing on social interpretation and explanation of the role of religion in human culture. The interaction between society and religion is thus examined as are a wide variety of religious beliefs and practices. LEC 45
