◆ SOC 216 - Sociology of Gender (GT-SS3)3.0 Credits Prerequisites: Requires college-level composition and reading. Gives students the theoretical and factual background necessary to understand the phenomenon of gender stratification in American and other cultures. Students will be exposed to a history of gender stratification in human societies, theoretical explanations for this, and insights into the consequences of gender differentiation in our world today.
