✽ REC 101 - Recreation: Principles & Practice3.0 Credits Prerequisites: Requires college-level composition and reading. The structure and economics of recreation in the United states are examined in this course. The interrelationships of private, public, and volunteer groups will be covered. History, philosophy, and theories of recreation will be introduced. Outdoor Recreation as a base for a community economy will be explored, as well as the career opportunities in Outdoor Recreation.
