ACC 3031 - Introduction to Federal Income Taxation3.0 Credits Prerequisites: ACC 1012 with a grade of C- or higher. This course covers the fundamentals of federal income tax and how it influences taxpayer decisions. Emphasis is on individuals and businesses organized as sole proprietorships, but the rules generally applicable to all taxpayers are covered. The course focuses on the concepts underlying the tax law, using the current tax formula and its elements, applying tax law to decision models, and incorporating tax planning principles into decision-making opportunities.
