✽ PSY 207 - Introduction to Forensic Psychology3.0 Credits Prerequisites: Requires college-level composition and reading placement. Introduction to Forensic Psychology is an overview of Forensic Psychology. As such it explores both current research and practice in five areas. These areas are police psychology, criminal psychology, victimology, correctional psychology, and the interface of psychology and the courts. The course facilitate an understanding of the numerous careers related to forensic psychology, how to prepare for them, and current research and practice in each of the five broad areas of forensic psychology.
