EMS 130 - EMT Intravenous Therapy1.0 Credits
Prerequisites: EMS 145 , EMS 146 , and EMS 170 with a grade of B or higher.
Focuses on cognitive and skill practice as required by Colorado Prehospital Care Program for EMT Basic Level IV approval. Examines criteria, procedures and techniques for ICV therapy, discusses fluid and electrolyte balance and principles, and treatment for shock. This course has a fee that may be non-refundable.
