Biological Science (BS)


The Bachelor of Science in Biological Science (BS.BioSci) provides students with a strong background in biology and interdisciplinary foundational sciences, through exploring the structure and function of biological systems from the molecular to systemic level. Cellular and Molecular Biology, Genetics, Human Physiology, Microbiology, and Biochemistry are key areas of study, along with the exploration of technology and human dimension and ethics in the biological sciences. Students develop skills in scientific inquiry, critical thinking, quantitative analysis, research, and laboratory skills in cellular and molecular biology. 

Graduates can pursue various careers, including:

  • Healthcare: Medicine, public health, genetic counseling.
  • Research: Work in academic, government, or private sector labs.
  • Biotechnology: Working in industries focused on drug development, agricultural improvements, or disease diagnostics.
