The Digital Media AAS degree combines required general education courses, a core of required courses, and two emphasis areas: Graphic Design and Professional Photography & Videography.
The Digital Media program is offered at Colorado Mountain College at Spring Valley, near Glenwood Springs. Some courses may be available at Colorado Mountain College in Aspen. Students must demonstrate college-level proficiency in composition, reading, and mathematical skills before entering this program. Skills in these areas may affect the sequence of courses in which students can enroll and may also extend the time required to complete this program. Graduates of the program will receive an Associate of Applied Science degree in Digital Media. Graduates are eligible for direct admission into the Integrated Media (BAS) degree. The BAS degree can be completed in 60 additional credits.
The Isaacson School of Communication, Arts and Media at Colorado Mountain College is devoted to preparing students to be competitive in the rapidly changing fields of photography, digital media, and graphic design.
