Automotive Service Technology Certificates

These certificates will prepare students for a career in the automotive service industry. Areas include specialties in Brakes, Electrical Systems, Automotive Facility Operations & Vehicle Maintenance, Engine Repair, Heating & Air Conditioning, Suspension & Steering, and Automatic Transmissions.

Upon completion of a given certificate’s requirements, students will graduate with a Certificate of Occupational Proficiency in that specialty area.

Automotive Service Technology is offered at Colorado Mountain College in Rifle, contact the Rifle campus for more information. CMC also offers Automotive Service Technology via the Concurrent Enrollment Programs in Rifle, Salida, and the Vail Valley. Students interested in Concurrent Enrollment Program Act (CEPA) courses should contact the respective campus for more information. 

These certificate programs are not eligible for federal student aid funds.
