•    EDU 3370 - Foundations in English Language Arts in the Elementary Classroom 3.0 Credits
•    EDU 3375 - Methods of Primary Literacy Instruction: Learning to Read 3.0 Credits
•    EDU 3380 - Language Acquisition and Literacy for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CLD) Learners 3.0 Credits
•    EDU 3381 - Adapting Instruction and Assessment for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CLD) Learners 3.0 Credits
•    EDU 4410 - Intervention and Inclusion: Differentiation for Exceptional Students 3.0 Credits

Bilingual Education Requirements

The Bilingual Education Specialist endorsement can then be added by completing the following additional courses demonstrating bilingualism and biliteracy in Spanish, bilingual methods for teaching and learning and demonstrating the ability to teach in the Spanish language. Each course includes assigned biliteracy practicum hours in a partner school district.
