This hands-on certificate provides basic safety, carpentry, and construction technology training. It creates a pathway from high school to industry careers and/or additional certifications and degrees.

The Basic Carpentry Certificate is only offered to concurrently enrolled (CEPA) students at Salida High School.

CAR 100 - Introduction to Carpentry 1.0 Credits
CAR 101 - Basic Safety 1.0 Credits
CAR 102 - Hand and Power Tools 1.0 Credits
OSH 127 - 10-Hour Construction Industry Standards 1.0 Credits
CAR 105 - Job Site Layout and Blueprint Reading 1.0 Credits
CAR 120 - General Construction Framing 1.0 Credits
