Prerequisites: BIS 324 ; Minimum grade C-. MAN 328 must be taken concurrently if not previously completed with a grade of C- or better.
Introduces students to the many facets of managing information systems including the behavioral, organizational, operational, and technical aspects of information systems. Explores executive information systems, management information systems, decision support systems, ERP systems, expert systems, and teleprocessing systems. Examines the use of information technology including hardware, software, telecommunications, and networks as the backbone of producing orgianizational content.
