MAN 488 - Business Strategy4.0 Credits Prerequisites: ECO-327 FIN-325 BIS-334 MAN-328 and MAR-326; Minimum grade C-. This course introduces the concepts, tools, and first principles of strategy formulation and competitive analysis. Investigates why some firms survive and prosper while others do not, and develops the critical analysis and communication skills necessary to create and implement firm strategy. Focuses on the information, analyses, organizational processes, and business judgment managers must use to design strategies, position their businesses and assets, and define firm boundaries to maximize long-term profits in the face of uncertainty and competition. Discusses the concepts of strategic management related to sustainable business practices. LEC 60
