MOT 183 - Medical Assistant Internship5.0 Credits
Prerequisites: MOT 110 , MOT 120 , MOT 130 , MOT 136 , MOT 138 , MOT 140 , MOT 150 and HPR 178 ; Minimum grade C-.
Provides supervised placement in a contracted facility for guided experience in application of knowledge and skills acquired in the classroom. The student assists with a variety of business and clinical procedures. Positions are non-paid due to CAAHEP requirements. Student must have permission by program coordinator to begin internship.
