Prerequisites: Requires college-level reading.
Focuses on the need to recognize and understand the similarities and differences among people and develop a respect for all individuals and groups. Assists teachers to recognize the special learning needs of children from different racial, ethnic, cultural and socioeconomics groups and to encourage teachers to integrate multicultural/diversity teaching into the school curriculum.
