   GIS 3003 - Remote Sensing for Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

Prerequisites: Prior completion of GIS 3000  with a grade of C- or higher.
This course introduces remote sensing fundamentals with an emphasis on integrating remotely sensed data into geographic information systems (GIS) applications. This course applies computer-based methods for extraction and processing of remotely sensed data with emphasis on the analysis and integration of data from multiple sources at local to global scales.
