BIO 3000 - Cell Biology and Physiology3.0 Credits Prerequisites: Prior completion of CHE 1111 , and either BIO 3124 or BIO 2124 , with a grade of C- or higher. Explores a comprehensive introduction to the fundamental concepts of cellular biology including relationship between structure and function, dynamics of cells at the molecular, organelle, membrane, and cellular level, and the biochemical pathways that govern cellular processes. The course covers problem solving, evaluation of experimental data from the literature of cell biology, and scientific communication to prepare students for research and professional contexts in the life sciences.
