HVA 2161 - National Center for Construction Education & Research HVAC III6.0 Credits Prerequisites: Prior completion of HVA 1162 with a grade of C- or higher. Prepares students to meet the level three standards of the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) curriculum. Course provides training and skills to prepare students to become advanced-level technicians in the HVAC industry. Course covers Fasteners, Hardware, Wiring Terminations, Troubleshooting Control Circuits and Motors, Troubleshooting Cooling, Troubleshooting Heat Pumps, Troubleshooting Gas and Oil Heating, Troubleshooting Accessories, Zoning, Ductless and Variable Refrigerant Flow Systems, Commercial Hydronic Systems, Steam Systems, Retail Refrigeration Systems, and Customer Relations.
