BIO 3100 - Ecology4.0 Credits Prerequisites: Prior completion of ENG 1022 and BIO 1112 with a grade of C- or higher. Explores the inter-relationships between organisms and their past, present, and future environments. Relationships include the physiological responses of individuals, the structure of populations, the interactions among species, the organization of biological communities, and the processing of energy and matter in ecosystems. Addresses the biotic and abiotic factors, including human impacts, that influence the distribution, abundance, and diversity of life. Includes laboratory and field experiences, and the design and completion of an original ecological research proposal. This course has a fee that may be non-refundable.
