✽ ENG 1000 - Academic Literacy and Success Skills3.0 Credits Prerequisites: Next Generation Accuplacer Writing scores 200-245+. Students who score higher may also take this class. The college may also use previous academic history, including high school information, for placement. Introduces and contextualizes foundational reading and writing skills and student success strategies in CTE and interdisciplinary, college-level courses. This course supports students across a range of programs. It can be taken simultaneously with other courses or singularly in preparation for program-specific courses. Prev.
