MAT 103 - Math for Clinical Calculations3.0 Credits Prerequisites: Accuplacer Elementary Algebra (EA) score 60 or higher; or Next Generation Accuplacer Arithmetic (AR) scores 265-300; or equivalent ACT/SAT scores; or passed MAT 050 , MAT 055 , or MAT 090 with a C- or better.
Next Generation Accuplacer AR scores 255-264 require co-enrollment with MAT-091. Covers the mathematical calculations needed for enteral and parenteral medication administration. It is designed for students in the health disciplines. Topics include measurements, conversion between various systems of measurements, and methods of solving problems related to drug dosage and medication administration. LEC 45 Contact hours
