◆ HIS 225 - Colorado History (GT-HI1)3.0 Credits Prerequisites: Accuplacer Sentence Skills (SS) score of 95 or higher and Reading Comprehension (RC) score of 80 or higher; or Next Generation Accuplacer Writing scores 246-300; or equivalent ACT/SAT scores; or passed CCR 092 , CCR 093 , CCR 094 , or ENG-090 with a grade of C- or better. Presents the story of the people, society, and cultures of Colorado from its earliest Native Americans, through the Spanish influx, the explorers, the fur traders and mountain men, the gold rush, railroad builders, the cattlemen and farmers, the silver boom, the tourists, and the modern state.
