MAP 183 - Medical Assistant Internship5.0 Credits
Prerequisites: MAP 110 , MAP 120 , MOT 136 , MAP 138 , MAP 140 , MAP 150 and HPR 178 with a grade of C or higher.
Provides supervised placement in a contracted facility for guided experience in application of knowledge and skills acquired in the classroom. The student assists with a variety of business and clinical procedures. Positions are non-paid. Student must have permission by program coordinator to begin internship.
