◆ ECO 245 - Issues in Environmental Economics (GT-SS1)3.0 Credits
Prerequisites: Accuplacer Sentence Skills (SS) score of 95 or higher and Reading Comprehension (RC) score of 80 or higher; or Next Generation Accuplacer Writing scores 246-300; or equivalent ACT/SAT scores; or passed CCR 092 , CCR 093 , CCR 094 , or ENG-090 with a grade of C- or better.
Introduces students to contemporary environmental issues and policies meant to reduce environmental degradation. Includes market failures, analytical tools, government pollution reduction policies for air, water, and natural environments and their effectiveness.
