Applied Engineering: Pipe Welding Certificate



Student earning their Welding Technology: Pipe Welding Certificate at CMC.Advanced welders will gain a better understanding of welding techniques and refine their skills within the welding industry. 

Graduates will receive a Certificate of Occupational Proficiency in Pipe Welding.  The Pipe Welding certificate is offered at West Garfield Campus - Rifle.  

This certificate program is not eligible for federal student aid funds.

* Completing both the Applied Engineering: Basic Welding and Cutting Certificate  and Pipe Welding Certificates will prepare students to take the American Welding Society (AWS) certification exam.

Applied Engineering


These programs bring together skill sets that prepare students for entry-level employment in the rapidly growing field of energy, including non-renewable areas related to oil and gas production, renewable energy, and sustainability.  Additionally, students already employed in energy or related fields can receive additional skills for career advancement.  Students learn in an interactive, hands-on lab setting focusing on natural gas and petroleum production, developing alternative energy solutions, and renewable energy technologies.  These certificates are offered at Colorado Mountain College in Rifle.
