Integrated Media (BAS)

The Integrated Media degree prepares students for a variety of careers in media production, content creation, digital marketing and media campaigns using various platforms. It is anchored in three curricular pillars - content creation, communication, and marketing to create authentic and engaging relationships with targeted audiences through storytelling. Grounded in a hands-on approach to learning, classes focus on content creation and cross-disciplinary collaboration within a peer cohort. State of the art computing facilities, Mac and PC labs and cutting-edge equipment enable students to explore ideas from ideation to final execution. Beyond an expertise in content creation, students will develop a mastery of the digital communication skill necessary for success in today’s digital culture.

Students must demonstrate college-level proficiency in composition, reading, and mathematics as prerequisites for this program. Skills in these areas may affect the sequence of courses in which students can enroll and may also extend the time required to complete this program. For more details, see the Academic Placement Methods and Placement Test Options  section.

For more information about program eligibility requirements, see the About Our Degrees  page in this catalog. Please work with a CMC advisor on course selection to fulfill degree requirements.

The Bachelor of Applied Science degree is offered at Colorado Mountain College in Spring Valley at Glenwood Springs. Not all courses are offered in a live mode or online. For additional program location & modality information, please check the Integrated Media Program Director.
