An alternative teaching certification pathway for individuals who already have a bachelor’s degree in a specific content area.
Graduates of the program will receive a Certificate of Occupational Proficiency: Elementary Education Alternative Certification.
The certification is offered at Colorado Mountain College in Leadville, Rifle, Salida, Spring Valley at Glenwood Springs, Vail Valley at Edwards, and Online. Not all courses are offered on every campus, some courses may require technology enabled modalities (web conference, hybrid, online).
