Culinary Management Certificate

The Culinary Management Certificate gives students the opportunity to gain the skills necessary to obtain an entry-level, supervisory position in one of the fastest growing service professions.  As part of the Culinary Management Certificate students will gain skills and broaden their knowledge of this industry with specific work experience and training in the food and beverage business world.

This certificate curriculum includes many of the courses included in the Associate of Applied Science degree in Restaurant Management  and credits may be applied toward that degree.

Students must demonstrate college-level composition, reading, and mathematical skills as prerequisites for some courses within this program.  Skills in these areas may affect the sequence of courses in which you can enroll and may extend the time required to complete the program.  For more details see the Academic and Testing section.

Graduates of the program will receive a Certificate of Occupational Proficiency in Culinary Management. This program is offered at Colorado Mountain College in Steamboat Springs. Some courses may require technology-enhanced modalities in order to complete the certificate.

CMC also offers a certificate in Restaurant Management . Learn more about the Restaurant Management Program.
