This hands-on certificate provides basic safety, carpentry, and construction technology training. It creates a pathway from high school to industry careers and/or additional certifications and degrees.

The Building Job Site Apprenticeship Certificate of Completion is only offered to concurrently enrolled students (CEPA) at Salida High School.

Certificate Requirements

Students must have completed the Basic Carpentry Certificate of Completion prior to enrolling in these courses.

CAR 1005 - Job Site Layout and Blueprint Reading 1.0 Credits
CON 1009 - Flooring, Tile, and Wood 3.0 Credits
CON 1010 - Introduction to Construction, Part I 4.0 Credits
CON 1011 - Introduction to Construction, Part II 4.0 Credits
CON 1038 - Plumbing & Electric Fundamentals 3.0 Credits
OSH 1310 - 10-Hour Construction Industry Standards 1.0 Credits
