Action Sports Certificate


This certificate consists of courses that are also included in the Associate of Applied Science Action Sports Industry  and Ski & Snowboard Business  programs and courses may be applied toward those degrees. Additionally, the bachelor’s degree-seeking student can obtain a Bachelor of Applied Science   from Colorado Mountain College.

Students must demonstrate acceptable proficiency levels in composition, reading, and mathematics as prerequisites for courses within the degree program. Skills in these areas may affect the sequence in which you can enroll and may also extend the time required to complete this program. For more details, please see the Academic Placement and Testing  section.

Graduates of the program will receive a Certificate of Occupational Proficiency in Action Sports.

An advisor will help students develop a schedule that meets their needs.

The Action Sports Certificate is offered at Colorado Mountain College in Steamboat Springs. Some courses may require technology enhanced modalities to complete the certificate. Coming soon! Starting Fall 2023 this program will be offered collegewide at all CMC locations; however, not all courses will be offered in a live mode at all campuses and this program will not be fully available through online learning.
