CMC & CU-Boulder Mechanical Engineering Articulation Agreement (AGS)

The community college engineering Associate of General Studies is a broad engineering discipline that incorporates skills and expertise in the areas of design, manufacturing, mechanics and thermal sciences essential to most sectors of industry and society.

This two-year degree is designed to transfer to the University of Colorado at Boulder’s College of Engineering and Applied Science. There you may earn a Bachelor of Science degree in one of twelve majors. See the Colorado “Statewide Engineering Articulation Agreement ” and “University of Colorado at Boulder Course Matrix” at http://highered.colorado.gov/Academics/Transfers/ for more information, as well as competitive transfer criteria for admission to the CU-Boulder College of Engineering and Applied Science at admissions.colorado.edu/undergraduate/apply.

It is highly recommended that the student intending to transfer from CMC keep in contact each semester with a faculty or staff advisor from their intended major department or degree program at CU-Boulder.

Graduates of the program will receive an Associate of General Studies Degree in Community College Engineering.
