RTE 3012 - IV Certification for Contrast Medium1.0 Credits
Prerequisites: Prior completion of RTE 1001 , RTE 1021 , RTE 1031 , and RTE 1041 with a grade of C- or higher. Students must also be admitted into the Radiologic Technology program and have completed all first-year RTE courses prior to enrolling in this course.
Prepares the student to perform IV contrast administration including knowledge of arterial and venous anatomy, appropriate puncture sites, necessary equipment and supplies, understanding of different contrast media, injectors and administration safety.
