   SAO 1124 - Ropeway Mechanical Maintenance Technician Level II - Course 4

Prerequisites: Prior completion of the Ropeway Mechanical Maintenance Level I certificate, or instructor permission.
The final course for Ropeway Maintenance Level II. This course focuses on completing the required skills beyond courses 1 through 3. This course covers all rigging components and systems, slings, wire rope clips, shackles, hooks, sockets, eyes, chains, cables, jacks, snatch blocks, wire rope blocks, cranes, tackle blocks, proper documentation, preventive and reactive maintenance, ANSI (American National Standards Institute) regulations, haul rope inspection, haul rope wear factors and maintenance records.
