CSL 4450 - Motivation & Resilience3.0 Credits Prerequisites: Prior completion of any one GT-SS3 PSY course with a grade of C- or higher. Introduces the history, theories, and principles of human motivation and emotions. Motivation is a multifaceted psychological construct that encompasses underlying processes that initiate, direct and maintain human behavior. This course covers the field of resilience research, including an examination of evidence-based cognitive, emotional, interpersonal, and self-care skills that have been demonstrated to reduce risk of major psychological disorders, and promote psychological growth, in the face of adversity.
