GIS 3310 - Global Positioning Systems for Geographic Information Systems3.0 Credits Prerequisites: GIS 3000 with a grade of C- or higher. GIS 3000 may be taken concurrently if not previously completed. Integrates locating and positioning technologies with Geographic Information Systems (GIS). This course focuses on the preparation and operation of professional GPS units, with an emphasis on spatial analysis of GPS data and planning for successful field projects.
